MR. JAMES ALBERT "Pete" PRINCE, 62, was born March 29, 1947, in St. Petersburg, FL. He was the son of the late Mr. Carl Robert Prince and the late Mrs. Maggie Collins Prince. He departed this earthly life Saturday, February 20, 2010, in McLeod Hospice, Florence, SC.

JAMES was educated in the public schools of St. Petersburg, Florida.

"Pete", as he was affectionately called, served eight years and two months in the US Army; two of those years, he served in Vietnam. He was wounded twice but continued his assignment until it was completed. JAMES, by profession was a plasterer but had many other skills which he learned under the guidance and love of his father, Mr. Carl Prince.

He was joined in holy matrimony to Abridean Rose. This union was blessed with three children.

JAMES was a member of The Church of Christ, Florence, SC.

He was predeceased by his mother and father; one sister, Evelyn and one brother, Alphonso.

Left to cherish precious memories are: his devoted wife, Mrs. Abridean Rose-Prince, of the home; three sons: Aron Earl Prince, Brooklyn, NY, Bobby Artrell (Leatha) Prince and Terrance Chad Prince, both of Florence, SC; two grandchildren, Alison Prince and Destiny Caroline Prince, both of Florence, SC; two sisters, Carlene Harris and Marline (Jacob) Mells, both of St. Petersburg, FL; six sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law; a host of other relatives and friends.
