Dorothy Campbell was born on July 12, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of Walter Lee Frazier and Lillie Mae Rice Frazier.

She received her education at Lincoln High School, Clio, South Carolina. Her profession was in the sewing industry for several years before retiring from Craig Industry in 2001.

Dorothy was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1973 and remained a devout Christian until she departed her life at McLeod Hospice House on Friday, February 19, 2010. She enjoyed congregating with the friends and preaching in the field ministry to others about God's Kingdom and his purpose for life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Pearlie Mae Parnell, Christiebell Frazier and Carolyn Frazier; and two brothers, Franklin Frazier and Thomas Frazier.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband of 43 years, John H. Campbell of the home; one daughter, Debra (Miguel) Moses; and two grandchildren, De' Aneshia Chenera Moses and De' Jae Chenelle Moses, all of Winston Salem, NC;

Also left to cherish her memory: three sisters, Lee Ethel Lytch, Pandora (Sam) Washington, all of High Point, NC and Joyce Buchannon of Brooklyn, NY; two brothers, Alex (Sallie Mae) Frazier of Clio, SC and Walter Lee Frazier, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY; five brothers-in-law, Wilbert (Edna Mae) Campbell, Jimmy (Flora Mae) Campbell, Willie (Mae) Campbell, James Lee Campbell, all of Bennettsville, SC and Jerry Campbell of Columbia, SC; two sisters-in-law, Bessie (Columbus) Drayton of Bennettsville, SC and Barbara Campbell McKinnon of McColl, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
